Worsell Manor
Warwick, MD
Worsell Manor is a beautiful private venue located in Warwick, MD. Primarily, this location serves as one of the top barn wedding venues on Maryland's Eastern Shore. My husband and I held our wedding reception here in 2021, so trust me when I tell you it is one of the best!
This property has beautiful landscapes including the historical Manor house, barn venue, gardens, and more. I have only held one day of mini-sessions here, but it was such a seamless process from start to finish and the manor house makes the perfect back drop. If you are looking for a beautiful and unique outdoor space for your session, ask your photographer to contact their team.
Bohemia River State Park
Chesapeake City, MD
One of my favorite locations to shoot is the Bohemia River State Park. This park is newer to the area and has so many options for your session no matter the time of year. To enter, there is a small fee per vehicle. This includes $3 for in-state and $5 for out-of-state.
In the summer, there is a stunning meadow of wildflowers and by fall, there are tall areas of grass and beautiful fall colors in all areas of the property. Additionally, there are wooded trails for hiking one of which includes a cute bridge. If you follow the hiking trails, you will come to the water, but I haven't made it that far yet.

Turner's Creek
Kennedyville, MD
Turner's Creek comes in at the top of my list every time, but it's about 20 minutes over the Kent County, Maryland line. Maybe it's the summers I spent there with my Dad during the crabbing season, or maybe it's the tranquility, but this one is the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow.
This location has beautiful water views, a pavilion, an old house, and a sealed wishing well. My favorite time of year to shoot here is the fall as the colors are overwhelmingly beautiful.
Just up the road, you will find the Wildlife Management Area which includes a meadow, the most perfect sunset views, and wooded trails for hiking. If you enjoy nature and have never visited, I encourage you to take some time this summer to visit.
